Poll Information The presidential poll question appears at the end of the Politopia political quiz. The quiz itself consists of 12 questions measuring an individual’s responses to questions about personal and economic freedoms. The quiz also includes questions about the quiz taker’s self-described political perspective and the degree of authority they think societies generally need to function well. The presidential polling question lists several of the major party candidates at this time and identifies their party affiliation. Candidates who have received a significant amount of press and seem likely to show well in the upcoming primary elections were included in the question. The candidates appear in a random order, changing for each respondent. The Politopia presidential poll results can be displayed for all who have taken the quiz, or segmented by Politopia region. The responses by region indicate the presidential preferences for all the quiz takers whose responses placed them within the Politopia region. For example, the responses for those in the northwest show the voting preference for quiz takers who prefer high levels of personal and economic freedom, while the results for those in the southeast show the preferences of those who prefer higher degrees of government control over both the economy and personal freedoms.
